National Ayurveda Day 2023 - Distribution of Medicinal Plants

The objective of the National Health Day is to popularise Ayurveda, an ancient holistic healing system. It provides an opportunity to learn about Ayurveda and its benefits and to impart and systemically use complementary and alternative medicine as a judgment. The theme of the 8th Ayurveda Day is "Ayurveda for everyone, every day."

As part of National Ayurveda Day celebrations, the State Medicinal Plants Board and Aushadhi jointly distributed medicinal plants. Aushadhi Managing Director Dr. TK Hridik inaugurated the distribution. Aushadhi Panchakarma Hospital Sr. Dr K. N Rajithan, Dr Priyamvada Assistant Manager PM Sudha, and State Medicinal Plants Board Scientific Officer Dr OL Pius spoke.
