"Ek Ped Maa ke Naam" -Nationwide campaign

"Ek Ped Maa ke Naam" is a nationwide campaign in India, including Kerala, where people are encouraged to plant a tree in honor of their mothers, essentially acting as a symbolic gesture of love, respect, and a commitment to environmental protection

Tthe campaign aims to promote tree planting and raise awareness about the importance of nature conservation by connecting it to the deep reverence for mothers in Indian culture.

This campaign was inaugurated on June 5, 2024, with the planting of a Peepal tree by the Prime Minister Sri. Narendra Modi at Buddha Jayanti Park in Delhi. SMPB led this campaign in various places in Kerala.
