One Day Herbal Seminar - Nandiyot Panchayat

Nanniyode Panchayat in Thiruvananthapuram district, the State Medicinal Plants Board, and the Center for Biodiversity Conservation and Rural Development jointly organized a one-day herbal seminar to spread medicinal plant cultivation on an industrial basis. Vice President P. S. Bajilal chaired the seminar, and the Executive Member of the Herbal Board, Dr. P. Sanjivkumar, explained the project.

Development Affairs Committee Chairperson Beenaraju and Education Committee Chairperson Laila Gnanadas, Panchayat members Ambika Amma, V. Rajkumar, P. Sanilkumar, Pushkalakumari, Medicinal Plants Board Senior Scientific Officer Dr. M. Nawaz, Center for Biodiversity Conservation and Rural Development Programme Coordinator and Chairman SL Anuj, Nandyot Agriculture Officer A. Sukumaran Nair also spoke.

The class included the functions of the Medicinal Plants Board, Financing, industrial potential in agriculture, and the prevalence and importance of Panchayats. Dr Sanjeev Kumar, Dr Ajeesh Kumar, Dr M. Nawaz, and A. Sukumaran Nair took the class.
