International Yoga Day Celebrations 2026

In anticipation of International Yoga Day, a yoga training program was organized under the leadership of Oushadhi and the State Medicinal Plants Board. The formal inauguration of the training program was conducted by Professor M. Haridas, Emeritus Professor at Kannur University. Prof. A. Sabu, former Member Secretary of the Kerala State Council for Science, Technology and Environment, delivered the keynote address. The function was presided over by Dr. T.K. Hrideek, Managing Director of Oushadhi and Chief Executive Officer of the State Medicinal Plants Board. Dr. A.V. Raghu (Scientist, KFRI), E. Shibu (General Manager, Oushadhi), Dr. K.S. Rajithan (Senior Consultant, Oushadhi Panchakarma Hospital), and Dr. G. Rajesh (Marketing Manager, Oushadhi) also spoke at the event.

Following this, as per the directives of the Government of Kerala and ahead of the International Yoga Day celebrations, a yoga training session was conducted at the Thrissur Oushadhi Panchakarma Hospital Auditorium. The session was led by yoga experts K. Ranan and P.M. Sudha.
