Description: Medium trees. Leaves ovate, oblong, long-acuminate at apex. Panicles to 10 cm across, on leafless branchlets. Flowers greenish-white, subsessile. Berry obovoid, deep blue.

Properties & Uses: Anthelmintic, diuretic, digestive, constipating and antibacterial. Bark is used for the treatment of diabetes, leucorrhea, fever, burning sensation, skin diseases and strangury. Tender leaves are used in vomiting. Fruits and seeds are used for the treatment of diabetes, diarrhea, splenopathy, urethrorrhagia and ringworm.
