Properties & Uses: Whole plant is bitter, pungent, heating, laxative, alternative, diuretic, and aphrodisiac. It is used to treat leprosy, piles, dysentery, fever, urinary diseases, eye diseases, hiccough, vomiting, jaundice, heart ailments, improves voice and increase semen. Root bark is used to treat the diseases of ear, eye and nose, burning of the throat, inflammation of the liver, chronic fever and griping. Fruits are used to treat fever and inflammation. Seeds are used to treat giddiness, thirst and inflammation. Juice of leaves used to treat chronic enlargement of liver.
