Description: Stout shrubs; branched virgate, usually pinkish, glabrous. Leaves alternate or fascicled oblong-oblanceolate, obtuse, sessile. Flowers pink or purple, solitary axillary or in few flowered cymes. Drupe with 4, 1-seeded pyrenes, free, yellowish, smooth.
