Properties & Uses: Roots are pungent, bitter stomachic and anthelmintic. Roots are used for the treatment of asthma, fever, rheumatism, inflammations, burning sensations, hiccough, epilepsy, wounds and diseases of blood. Leaves are useful in fever, burning sensation and hiccough. Seeds bruised and boiled in butter milk are used as aperient in dropsy.
