Properties & Uses: Root is bitter, pungent, laxative, stomachic, alexipharmic and tonic. Root is used for the treatment of anemia, diabetes, inflammations, swellings, bronchitis, dyspepsia, constipation, fever and liver complains. Leaves are stomachic and carminative. It is used to treat piles, tumours, flatulence, cols and fever. Whole plant is used to treat rheumatism and neuralgia.
