Properties & Uses: Anti-inflammatory, antiulcer and antioxidant. Mixed juice of leaves and stem in cold water is demulcent and used for the treatment of gonorrhea. Leaves are also used for the treatment of ulcers. Fresh leaves and young shoot dipped and kept in few minutes in boiled milk is used as an aphrodisiac. Fruit decoction is used for the irritation of the urinary organs.
