  • Description: Tuberous herbs. Leaves cordate, broadly ovate. Scape 20 cm tall, lax-flowered. Flowers greenish.

  • Habitat: Moist deciduous forests, also in sacred groves

  • Properties & Uses: Tubers are used in vomiting, epilepsy, diarrhoea and diabetes. Leaves decoction is used as a protective medicine after child birth.
