Properties & Uses: Plant is demulcent and diuretic. Whole plant is used for the treatment of urinary calculi, strangury, pain, dysentery, vomiting, asthma and cough. Root is useful in bowel complaints of children, gonorrhoea and urinary affections. Powdered leaves are used in asthma.
