Description: Herbs. Leaves linear, rounded at base, flat. Inflorescence a large complex greyish panicle. Racemes paired, with a spatheole beneath. Spikelets binate, one sessile, other pedicelled. Flower greenish-yellow. Caryopsis elliptic.
