Properties & Uses: Rhizome is cooling, stomachic, carminative, antipyretic, aphrodisiac and laxative. Rhizome is useful in biliousness, bronchitis, asthma and skin diseases. Roots are expectorant and astringent and are useful in diarrhea, inflammations, gleet and gonorrhea.
