Description
: Trees. Leaves digitately trifoliate, alternate, estipulate. Flowers bisexual, creamy white, in terminal corymbs. Fruit a berry, globose or ovoid, yellowish-grey, rind woody; seeds brown, embedded in pulp.

Properties & Uses
: Carminative, laxative, anthelmintic, diuretic, lithontriptic, expectorant and demulcent. The dried bark is internally administered to cure diseases like renal calculi, dysuria, helminthiasis, inflammations, cough, asthma, bronchitis and skin diseases.
