  • Description: Stout creepers. Leaves shallowly 2-lobed. Flowers purple, pink or violet, solitary or few in axillary cymes. Capsule subglobose, glabrous; seeds brownish-tomentose.

  • Habitat: Sandy sea coasts and mangrove forests, also in the plains
